SS 316/SS 316L Plates are a part of austenitic family of stainless steel and is widely used grade in industrial application. The plates formed of this grade withstand almost in every situations. The characteristics and properties of both the grade differ slightly but there strength is equivalent in extensive environment.
Talking about the SS 316 grade, it has a high content of nickel present which gives an excellent corrosion resistance and strength as compared with other SS grades. The 316 SS grade plates are widely used in market due to its low cost maintenance and high availability.
