Description of the alloy SS317/SS317L-
Stainless steel 317 is actually the modified version of the other stainless steel alloy with the greater molybdenum alloy addition. Alloy stainless steel 317L is the low carbon version of alloy SS 317that is providing the well-improved resistance to corrosion that is relative to the other alloy.
